The story behind the Greek Project
This project has been on our hearts as a team even before our publishing house was founded. One of the main reasons we started this ministry was the lack of Christ-centered resources—especially for children—in the Greek language. Our very first project was a Bible for young children, and our vision is to publish a Bible for every stage of childhood, accompanying children until they can read the Bible on their own as adults.
Translating The Jesus Storybook Bible felt like the natural next step in this journey.
Now, years later, the translation is complete—but we are not yet able to publish it. For a small publishing house like ours, this is a major undertaking. While we’ve occasionally been able to fund smaller projects through our sales, this one is simply beyond our current means. Everyone at Sporos works as a volunteer, but professional graphic design, printing, and production costs in Greece are high. For larger projects like this, outside support is essential.
