About Priscilla
Making a Difference Together
Priscilla is a non-profit ministry dedicated to cultivating a love for the Word of God through gospel-centred Christian literature in Greek. Named after Priscilla, a co-worker of Paul and a devoted Christian in the early Church, known for her deep love for God and His Word, our ministry shares her passion for teaching and sharing the Scriptures.
Our journey began when four women became friends and were united by a deep love for the Word of God, discipleship, and books. Through studying the Bible together, we discovered a shared vision: to equip others with Christian books and resources in Greek.
We realised there are tremendous privileges for those who are native English speakers: being able to read fluently in English gives you access to almost all the best books, especially Christian books. They’re either written in English originally or translated because they’re so good! This richness of resources is particularly striking in children’s literature. The opportunity to read gospel truths in your own language with your children is a massive blessing. We want to share that blessing with Greek believers! That’s why Priscilla was founded.
Soon, “Sporos” was established, a publishing house under the umbrella of Priscilla. Sporos means seed, and we pray that the seeds of truth–the good news about Jesus–contained in these books will be planted in the lives of the children and families who read them. As they are directed to the Bible texts, we pray that God, by His Holy Spirit, will nurture those seeds and cause them to bear fruit. The Sporos logo contains a dandelion seed; these seeds will go wherever the Holy Spirit chooses.

Our Purpose
Rooted in the Word, Growing in Faith.
Priscilla’s purpose is to plant seeds of faith through meaningful stories, helping children, young people, and families encounter God’s truth. By publishing Christian books in Greek, we aim to shape hearts, foster a gospel-centered community, and empower local creatives to serve through Scripture.
Our Mission
Priscilla’s mission is to inspire and equip children and young people to discover the God of the Bible and the wisdom of His Word through high-quality Christian literature in Greek. Rooted in Scripture and guided by creativity, we cultivate a culture of spiritual growth, dialogue, and collaboration.
Through books, workshops, and partnerships, we empower individuals to teach and share the Gospel across Greek-speaking communities. Like our namesake, we are passionate about God’s truth and committed to producing resources that are both biblically sound and beautifully crafted.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see children and young people across Greek-speaking communities grow in their love for God through engaging, gospel-centered books. We dream of homes filled with Scripture-based stories, families reading the Bible together, and young hearts shaped by truth.
We hope to encourage and equip Greek writers and artists to use their gifts for God’s glory, creating a lasting library of Christian literature. Through creativity, collaboration, and faith, we long to see a generation rooted in God’s Word and ready to impact the world.
Our Milestones
Our Journey Through the Years
Explore the significant milestones that have shaped our organisation. Each achievement reflects our commitment to our mission.

We met in Athens, became friends over tea and classical literature, and began Bible studies. Over time, our friendship blossomed!

We started translating small books and materials to use as a group and share freely with others.

As Bible studies and translations continued, we realised there wasn’t enough material available in Greek.

We began considering the translation of children’s books. That’s when the vision for Priscilla was born—scribbled on a placemat over lunch!

We translated The Big Picture Story Bible and raised funds to publish it through “Logos”, a Greek publisher.

The Big Picture Story Bible was published!
We were overjoyed.

With surplus funds, we translated and published Goodbye to Goodbyes and The Friend Who Forgives with “Logos”.

During lockdown, production halted. “Logos” encouraged us to start our own publishing house.

Sporos Books Publishing House was founded.
Our first titles were published!

As we published more, it became clear we needed our own space. Finances were tight, but God provided generous people to store our books, at least for a while.

Our books began to travel far and wide, reaching schools in Ukraine, orphanages in Tanzania, and readers across Greece and beyond.

In four years, we published 11 books! Our first events and presentations helped us share the good news.

Now, after many years of translations, we’re launching our first original Greek titles! We can’t wait to see what God plans for Priscilla’s future…
